October 3, 2025: Jackson, TN 38305 University School of Jackson Bruins (Jackson, TN) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Memphis East Mustangs (Memphis, TN), 49-6 in a non-league battle.
With the win, University School of Jackson improves its record to 7-0 on the season. The Bruins travel to Dyer County (Newbern, TN) to play the Choctaws in a non-league battle on Friday, October 17. The Choctaws go into the battle with a record of 5-2. Dyer County won 42-10 in their recent league match against Chester County (Henderson, TN)
Coming up next, the Mustangs meet the Bolton Wildcats (Arlington, TN) in a 3A Region 8 match, on Thursday, October 9. Memphis East will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 42-8 league win over Hamilton (Memphis, TN).
