The New Prairie Cougars got by the visiting Mishawaka Marian Knights football team by a score of 34-30 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Penn Kingsmen (Mishawaka, IN) in a Northern Indiana challenge, on Friday, October 10. New Prairie will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Kingsmen go into the challenge with a 7-0 record after their 34-12 league win over Elkhart (Elkhart, IN).

The Knights (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Elkhart (Elkhart, IN). The Lions go into the Northern Indiana test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Elkhart was nipped by Penn (Mishawaka, IN), 34-12, in a league test.
