Iowa High School Football - Nashua-Plainfield tops Starmont
October 3, 2025: Arlington, IA 50606 The Nashua-Plainfield Huskies football squad scored 51 points and limited the host Starmont Stars to 22 in the Huskies league triumph on Friday.
The Huskies now hold a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host South Winneshiek for a A District 3 test on Friday, October 10. Nashua-Plainfield will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 40-14 non-league loss to Wapsie Valley (Fairbank, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 3-3.
With the defeat, Starmont drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Stars travel to East Buchanan (Winthrop, IA) to meet the Buccaneers in a non-league test on Friday, October 10. The Buccaneers come into the test with a record of 2-4. East Buchanan lost 31-8 in their recent league test against East Marshall (Le Grand, IA)
