The Northwest Mohawks (McDermott, OH) football knocked off the host Vinton County Vikings (McArthur, OH), 43-22 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Mohawks now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Portsmouth West for a Southern Ohio II game on Friday, October 10. Northwest will battle a Senators team coming off a 44-20 league win over Valley (Lucasville, OH). The Senators record now stands at 4-3.

The Vikings (1-6) will now prepare for their game against River Valley (Bidwell, OH). The Raiders enter the Tri-Valley - Ohio game with a 1-6 record. In their last game, River Valley was toppled by Alexander (Albany, OH), 26-6, in a league game.
