In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Paramus Catholic Paladins football squad scored a good 42-14 triumph over the St. Thomas Aquinas Trojans.

The Paladins now hold a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Bergen Catholic for a Super - United Red test on Friday, October 10. Paramus Catholic will meet a Crusaders squad coming off a 14-9 league loss to Don Bosco Prep (Ramsey, NJ). The Crusaders record now stands at 4-1.

With the defeat, St. Thomas Aquinas drops to 4-2 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Edison (Edison, NJ) to meet the Eagles in a Big Central - National Silver test on Friday, October 10. The Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 1-5. Edison lost 21-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Colonia (Colonia, NJ)
