The Parkland Mustangs football team (Winston-Salem, NC), dropped 22-6 in Friday's league bout with the visiting R.J. Reynolds Demons (Winston-Salem, NC)

With the win, R.J. Reynolds advances its record to 6-0 on the season. The Demons host Reagan (Pfafftown, NC) to encounter the Raiders in a Central Piedmont 7A/8A bout on Friday, October 10. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Reagan won 41-28 in their recent league bout against Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC)

The Mustangs now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to East Forsyth for a Central Piedmont 7A/8A contest on Friday, October 10. Parkland will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 20-14 league loss to West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 3-3.
