The Wallace Wildcats felled the visiting Paxton Tigers football squad by a count of 44-25 in Friday's league test.
The Wildcats now hold a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Medicine Valley for a D6 District 4 (6 Man) test on Thursday, October 9. Wallace will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 61-14 league loss to Southwest (Bartley, NE). The Raiders record now stands at 1-4.
With the defeat, Paxton drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Tigers host Sumner-Eddyville-Miller (Sumner, NE) to meet the Mustangs in a D6 District 4 (6 Man) test on Friday, October 10. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 4-1. Sumner-Eddyville-Miller won 63-33 in their recent league test against Wauneta-Palisade (Wauneta, NE)
