California High School Football - Wilson over Pomona

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Wilson Wildcats (Hacienda Heights, CA) and the visiting Pomona Red Devils (Pomona, CA), witnessed Wilson's football squad knock off Pomona by a tally of 42-13.

The Wildcats (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Azusa (Azusa, CA). The Aztecs go into the Montview bout with a 0-6 record. In their last bout, Azusa dropped by Nogales (La Puente, CA), 53-3, in a league bout.

The Red Devils now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they travel to Ontario for a Montview contest on Friday, October 10. Pomona will battle a Jaguars squad coming off a 49-31 league win over Sierra Vista (Baldwin Park, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 4-2.
