October 3, 2025: Metairie, LA 70003 The Pope John Paul II Jaguars felled the host St. Martin's Episcopal Saints football team by a score of 28-12 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Jaguars play the St. Thomas Aquinas Falcons (Hammond, LA) in a 2A District 9 test, on Friday, October 10. Pope John Paul II will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Falcons come into the test with a 0-5 record after their 34-7 non-league loss to Archbishop Hannan (Covington, LA).
With the defeat, St. Martin's Episcopal drops to 2-3 on the year. The Saints host Riverside Academy (Reserve, LA) to clash with the Rebels in a 1A District 10 outing on Friday, October 10. The Rebels come into the outing with a record of 5-1. Riverside Academy won 42-19 in their recent non-league outing against Vermilion Catholic (Abbeville, LA)
