The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Red Bank Lions (Chattanooga, TN) and the host Signal Mountain Eagles (Signal Mountain, TN), witnessed Red Bank's football squad topple Signal Mountain by a count of 34-15.

The Lions (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Hixson (Hixson, TN). The Wildcats enter the 4A Region 3 battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Hixson overcame Chattanooga Central (Harrison, TN), 41-8, in a non-league battle.

The Eagles now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they host East Ridge for a 4A Region 3 battle on Friday, October 10. Signal Mountain will play a Pioneers team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Cumberland County (Crossville, TN). The Pioneers record now stands at 4-3.
