California High School Football - Santa Cruz tops Seaside
October 3, 2025: Santa Cruz, CA 95060 The Santa Cruz Cardinals football squad scored 44 points and limited the visiting Seaside Spartans to 27 in the Cardinals league triumph on Friday.
The Cardinals now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marina for a Pacific Coast - Santa Lucia test on Thursday, October 9. Santa Cruz will meet a Mariners squad coming off a 29-22 league win over Rancho San Juan (Salinas, CA). The Mariners record now stands at 4-0.
With the defeat, Seaside drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Pajaro Valley (Watsonville, CA) to face the Grizzlies in a Pacific Coast - Santa Lucia challenge on Saturday, October 11. The Grizzlies enter the challenge with a record of 2-4. Pajaro Valley won 44-24 in their recent league challenge against Harbor (Santa Cruz, CA)
