The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Seneca Valley Screamin' Eagles (Germantown, MD) and the host Walter Johnson Wildcats (Bethesda, MD), witnessed Seneca Valley's football squad edge Walter Johnson by a count of 20-13.

The Screamin' Eagles (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Northwest (Germantown, MD). The Jaguars enter the Class 4A West contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Northwest got by Gaithersburg (Gaithersburg, MD), 37-7, in a league contest.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Barons (Bethesda, MD) in a non-league battle, on Friday, October 10. Walter Johnson will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Barons go into the battle with a 2-3 record after their 18-0 league loss to Paint Branch (Burtonsville, MD).
