October 3, 2025: New Iberia, LA 70560 The St. Thomas More Cougars (Lafayette, LA) football tipped the host Westgate Tigers (New Iberia, LA), 22-18 in Friday's league outing.
The Cougars now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Northside for a 4A District 4 outing on Friday, October 10. St. Thomas More will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 49-43 league win over Rayne (Rayne, LA). The Vikings record now stands at 4-1.
With the defeat, Westgate drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Tigers host St. Martinville (St. Martinville, LA) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league outing on Friday, October 10. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 2-3. St. Martinville lost 26-20 in their recent non-league game against Woodlawn-B.R. (Baton Rouge, LA)
