Massachusetts High School Football - Winchester trounces Wakefield Memorial
October 3, 2025: Wakefield, MA 01880 In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Winchester Red & Black football squad scored a decisive 42-7 triumph over the Wakefield Memorial Warriors.
The Red & Black (4-0) will now prepare for their match against Reading Memorial (Reading, MA). The Rockets come into the Middlesex - Liberty match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Reading Memorial was routed by Arlington (Arlington, MA), 36-28, in a league battle.
The Warriors now have a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Watertown for a Middlesex - Freedom challenge on Friday, October 10. Wakefield Memorial will play a Raiders team coming off a 24-12 league loss to Stoneham (Stoneham, MA). The Raiders record now stands at 2-2.
