October 3, 2025: Aptos, CA 95003 The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Aptos Mariners (Aptos, CA) and the visiting Alisal Trojans (Salinas, CA), witnessed Aptos's football squad topple Alisal by a count of 20-7.
The Mariners (6-0) will now prepare for their contest against Palma (Salinas, CA). The Chieftains enter the contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Palma was outscored by Carmel (Carmel, CA), 22-21, in a league battle.
The Trojans now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Soquel for a battle on Friday, October 10. Alisal will encounter a Knights team coming off a 48-7 league loss to Salinas (Salinas, CA). The Knights record now stands at 1-4.
