October 3, 2025: San Diego, CA 92101 The Point Loma Pointers football squad scored 42 points and limited the host San Diego Cavers to 6 in the Pointers league triumph on Friday.
The Pointers now sport a 5-1 record. They play next when they host Cathedral Catholic for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 10. Point Loma will face a Dons team coming off a 19-7 non-league loss to De La Salle (Concord, CA). The Dons record now stands at 4-3.
The Cavers (0-6) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Augustine (San Diego, CA). The Saints go into the challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, St. Augustine was ripped by Mater Dei Catholic (Chula Vista, CA), 23-21, in a non-league challenge.
