October 3, 2025: Rutland, VT 05701 Mt. St. Joseph Academy Green Wave (Rutland, VT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they observed their soccer squad knock off the visiting Mill River Minutemen (North Clarendon, VT), 4-2 in a non-league bout.
The Green Wave now possess a 2-6 record. They play next when they host Leland & Gray for a SVL-D bout on Monday, October 6. Mt. St. Joseph Academy will play a Rebels squad coming off a 4-1 league loss to Arlington Memorial (Arlington, VT). The Rebels record now stands at 3-5.
With the defeat, Mill River falls to 6-3 on the campaign. The Minutemen host Otter Valley (Brandon, VT) to clash with the Otters in a SVL-C game on Wednesday, October 8. The Otters come into the game with a record of 0-11. Otter Valley lost 3-2 in their recent league game against White River Valley (Royalton, VT)
