The Grand Island Central Catholic Crusaders softball squad (Grand Island, NE), was routed 12-0 in Friday's non-league contest with the visiting Centura Centurions (Cairo, NE)

With the triumph, Centura improves its record to 18-7 on the year. The Centurions travel to Central City (Central City, NE) to face the Bison in a non-league bout on Friday, October 3. The Bison go into the bout with a record of 19-6. Central City won 13-1 in their recent non-league bout against Highway 91 (Leigh, NE)

In their next game, the Crusaders clash with the Aurora Huskies (Aurora, NE) in a B District 7 contest, on Monday, October 6. Grand Island Central Catholic will attempt to improve on its 11-11 season record. The Huskies enter the contest with a 12-12 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to Seward (Seward, NE).
