South Carolina High School Volleyball - Oakleaf tips Aiken
October 3, 2025: Aiken, SC 29801 Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Oakleaf Knights (Orange Park, FL) and the host Aiken Fighting Green Hornets (Aiken, SC), observed Oakleaf's volleyball team hold off Aiken by a count of 2-1.
The Knights (10-9) will now prepare for their battle against Lake Howell (Winter Park, FL). The Silverhawks go into the non-league battle with a 14-5 record. In their last battle, Lake Howell tipped Lyman (Longwood, FL), 3-0, in a league battle.
The Fighting Green Hornets now own a 12-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brookland-Cayce for a AAAA Region 4 battle on Tuesday, October 7. Aiken will meet a Bearcats team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Gray Collegiate Academy (West Columbia, SC). The Bearcats record now stands at 0-20.
