October 3, 2025: Morgan City, LA 70380 Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Barbe Buccaneers (Lake Charles, LA) and the host Morgan City Tigers (Morgan City, LA), saw Barbe's volleyball squad notch a victory over Morgan City by a score of 2-0.
With the win, Barbe improves its record to 18-9 on the season. The Buccaneers travel to Byrd (Shreveport, LA) to encounter the Yellow Jackets in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 4. The Yellow Jackets go into the battle with a record of 15-3. Byrd won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Airline (Bossier City, LA)
In their next game, the Tigers encounter the Hanson Memorial Tigers (Franklin, LA) in a non-league test, on Monday, October 6. Morgan City will attempt to improve on its 8-12 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 12-6 record after their 3-2 non-league win over West St. Mary (Baldwin, LA).
