October 3, 2025: Fremont, CA 94538 Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Model Secondary School for the Deaf Eagles (Washington, DC) and the host California School for the Deaf Eagles (Fremont, CA), observed Model Secondary School for the Deaf's volleyball team top California School for the Deaf by a count of 2-0.
The Eagles (11-12) will now prepare for their contest against Florida School for the Deaf & Blind (St. Augustine, FL). The Dragons enter the non-league contest with a 1-10 record. In their last battle, Florida School for the Deaf & Blind dropped by St. Joseph Academy (St. Augustine, FL), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
The Eagles now own a 1-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host California School for the Deaf-Riverside for a non-league battle on Saturday, October 4. California School for the Deaf will encounter a Cubs squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to La Sierra Academy (Riverside, CA). The Cubs record now stands at 11-12.
