In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Sickles Gryphons volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Cypress Creek Coyotes .

The Gryphons (9-12) will now prepare for their test against Springstead (Spring Hill, FL). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 12-7 record. In their last test, Springstead nudged Central (Brooksville, FL), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Coyotes now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Springstead for a non-league test on Saturday, October 4. Cypress Creek will face a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Central (Brooksville, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 12-7.
