Washington, DC High School Volleyball - Don Bosco Cristo Rey can't hold off Roosevelt
October 3, 2025: Washington, DC 20011 In Friday's non-league match, the Roosevelt Roughriders (Washington, DC) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Don Bosco Cristo Rey Wolfpack (Takoma Park, MD), by a final score of 3-2.
Next up, the Roughriders confront the Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering Panthers (Washington, DC) in a DCIAA match, on Saturday, October 4. Roosevelt will attempt to advance on its 6-7 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 4-5 record after their 2-0 league win over Bard (Washington, DC).
The Wolfpack (0-12) will now prepare for their match against McLean (Potomac, MD). The enter the Freelance match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, McLean was nudged by Field (Washington, DC), 3-1, in a non-league bout.
