Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Southwestern Rebels (Hanover, IN) and the visiting Lanesville Eagles (Lanesville, IN), observed Southwestern's volleyball squad notch a victory over Lanesville by a score of 3-1.

With the win, Southwestern improves its record to 14-11 on the season. The Rebels travel to Switzerland County (Vevay, IN) to encounter the Pacers in a Ohio River Valley battle on Tuesday, October 7. The Pacers go into the battle with a record of 4-17. Switzerland County lost 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against New Washington (New Washington, IN)

The Eagles now own a 14-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rock Creek Academy for a non-league battle on Monday, October 6. Lanesville will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Clarksville (Clarksville, IN). The Lions record now stands at 6-19.
