Arizona High School Flag Football - Mountain View can't hold off Desert Mountain
October 30, 2024: Scottsdale, AZ 85259 Desert Mountain Wolves (Scottsdale, AZ) fans went home in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their flag football team tip the visiting Mountain View Mountain Lions (Tucson, AZ), 13-7 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Desert Mountain improves its record to 6-8 on the season. The Wolves host McClintock (Tempe, AZ) to play the Chargers in a non-league battle on Monday, November 4. The Chargers go into the battle with a record of 2-8. McClintock lost 28-7 in their recent league battle against Arizona College Prep (Chandler, AZ)
The Mountain Lions now have a 4-7 record. They play next when they host Vista Grande for a 5A Southern battle on Tuesday, November 5. Mountain View will play a Spartans team coming off a 42-0 league loss to Casa Grande (Casa Grande, AZ). The Spartans record now stands at 1-9.
