October 30, 2024: Luray, VA 22835 The Clarke County Eagles football squad scored 38 points and limited the host Luray Bulldogs to 30 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Eagles now sport a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they host Madison County for a non-league test on Wednesday, November 6. Clarke County will meet a Mountaineers squad coming off a 18-14 non-league win over Strasburg (Strasburg, VA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 4-4.
With the defeat, Luray drops to 3-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Page County (Shenandoah, VA) to meet the Panthers in a test on Wednesday, November 6. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 3-4. Page County lost 28-14 in their recent non-league test against Central Woodstock (Woodstock, VA)
