Virginia High School Football - Essex defeats Lancaster
October 30, 2024: Lancaster, VA 22503 In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Essex Trojans football squad scored a good 38-16 victory over the Lancaster Red Devils.
The Trojans (8-0) will now prepare for their match against Westmoreland (Montross, VA). The Eagles enter the non-league match with a 5-2 record. In their last match, Westmoreland thwarted Rappahannock (Warsaw, VA), 42-0, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Red Devils battle the Colonial Beach Drifters (Colonial Beach, VA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, November 6. Lancaster will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Drifters enter the game with a 0-7 record after their 28-8 non-league loss to Northumberland (Heathsville, VA).
