Connecticut High School Soccer - Canterbury School nudges Pomfret School
October 30, 2024: New Milford, CT 06776 The Canterbury School Saints soccer squad scored 3 points and held the visiting Pomfret School Griffins to 2 in the Saints non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Saints now possess a 3-8 record. They play next when they travel to Suffield Academy for a non-league bout on Saturday, November 2. Canterbury School will play a Tigers squad coming off a 1-1 non-league Northfield Mount Hermon (Mount Hermon, MA). The Tigers record now stands at 11-4.
With the loss, Pomfret School moves to 5-7 on the year. The Griffins host Worcester Academy (Worcester, MA) to play the Hilltoppers in a NEPSAC Freelance bout on Friday, November 1. The Hilltoppers go into the bout with a record of 9-3. Worcester Academy won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Phillips Academy (Andover, MA)
