October 30, 2025: La Joya, TX 78560 In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Economedes Jaguars football team scored a tight 59-56 win over the La Joya Coyotes.
With the win, Economedes upgrades its record to 9-0 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Weslaco (Weslaco, TX) to meet the Panthers in a 6A Region IV District 31 test on Thursday, November 6. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 7-2. Weslaco won 23-5 in their recent league test against Edinburg (Edinburg, TX)
With the defeat, La Joya drops to 4-5 on the campaign. The Coyotes travel to Pharr-San Juan-Alamo (San Juan, TX) to meet the Bears in a 6A Region IV District 31 test on Thursday, November 6. The Bears come into the test with a record of 1-8. Pharr-San Juan-Alamo won 33-27 in their recent league test against Edinburg North (Edinburg, TX)
