October 30, 2025: Medford, MA 02155 The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the Medford Mustangs (Medford, MA) and the visiting Saugus Sachems (Saugus, MA), witnessed Medford's football squad knock off Saugus by a tally of 14-0.
The Mustangs (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Malden (Malden, MA). The Golden Tornados enter the Greater Boston contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Malden was outscored by Whittier RVT (Haverhill, MA), 40-22, in a non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Sachems confront the Peabody Veterans Memorial Tanners (Peabody, MA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, November 27. Saugus will attempt to better on its 1-7 season record. The Tanners enter the contest with a 0-8 record after their 22-0 league loss to Beverly (Beverly, MA).
