Newcastle Bobcats (Newcastle, TX) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Strawn Greyhounds (Strawn, TX), 3-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Newcastle advances its record to 11-12 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Harrold (Harrold, TX) to face the Hornets in a non-league test on Tuesday, November 4. The Hornets go into the test with a record of 19-14. Harrold won 3-0 in their recent league test against Northside (Vernon, TX)

The Greyhounds now sport a 28-11 record.
