New Jersey High School Soccer - Notre Dame held off by St. John-Vianney
October 31, 2023: Holmdel, NJ 07733 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league test between the St. John-Vianney Lancers (Holmdel, NJ) and the visiting Notre Dame Irish (Lawrenceville, NJ), saw St. John-Vianney's soccer squad get by Notre Dame by a margin of 2-1.
The Lancers now sport a 4-9 record. They play next when they travel to Princeton Day for a non-league test on Friday, November 3. St. John-Vianney will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Mount St. Mary Academy (Watchung, NJ). The Panthers record now stands at 14-2.
With the loss, Notre Dame drops to 11-2 on the season.
