October 31, 2024: Buchanan, VA 24066 The Alleghany Cougars football squad scored 14 points and limited the host James River Knights to 7 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Cougars now sport a 6-2 record.
With the defeat, James River drops to 4-5 on the campaign. The Knights host Patrick County (Stuart, VA) to meet the Cougars in a non-league test on Thursday, November 7. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 2-4. Patrick County lost 44-14 in their recent non-league test against Radford (Radford, VA)
