The Oscar Smith Tigers football squad scored 29 points and limited the host Hickory Hawks to 15 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Tigers now sport a 8-0 record. They take the field next when they host Western Branch for a non-league test on Thursday, November 7. Oscar Smith will meet a Bruins squad coming off a 50-49 non-league loss to Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA). The Bruins record now stands at 4-3.

With the defeat, Hickory drops to 4-4 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to King's Fork (Suffolk, VA) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Thursday, November 7. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 8-1. King's Fork won 48-8 in their recent non-league test against Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA)
