The Bismarck Lions football squad scored 47 points and limited the host Centerpoint Knights to 6 in the Lions league win on Friday.

The Lions now sport a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they host Horatio for a 3A Region 7 test on Thursday, November 6. Bismarck will meet a Lions squad coming off a 43-8 league loss to Harmony Grove (Camden, AR). The Lions record now stands at 1-7.

With the defeat, Centerpoint drops to 4-5 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Prescott (Prescott, AR) to face the Curley Wolves in a 3A Region 7 challenge on Friday, November 7. The Curley Wolves enter the challenge with a record of 6-3. Prescott lost 49-13 in their recent league challenge against Smackover (Smackover, AR)
