The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Glenn Grizzlies (Leander, TX) and the visiting Chaparral Bobcats (Killeen, TX), witnessed Glenn's football squad topple Chaparral by a tally of 42-20.

The Grizzlies (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Rouse (Leander, TX). The Raiders enter the 5A-1 Region II District 8 contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Rouse thwarted East View (Georgetown, TX), 24-21, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Bobcats confront the Lake Belton Broncos (Temple, TX) in a 5A-1 Region II District 8 contest, on Thursday, November 6. Chaparral will attempt to better on its 2-7 season record. The Broncos enter the contest with a 4-5 record after their 50-40 league loss to Georgetown (Georgetown, TX).
