The Dublin Lions football squad (Dublin, TX), was trounced 56-7 in Friday's league contest with the visiting Clifton Cubs (Clifton, TX)

The Cubs (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Brady (Brady, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 3A-2 Region II District 5 contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Brady crushed Tolar (Tolar, TX), 20-14, in a league bout.

The Lions now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Early for a 3A-2 Region II District 5 bout on Friday, November 7. Dublin will encounter a Longhorns team coming off a 74-0 league win over Eastland (Eastland, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 4-5.
