In Friday's non-league game, the Fitch Falcons (Groton, CT) football squad knocked off the visiting Waterford Lancers (Waterford, CT), by a margin of 26-7.

The Falcons now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host West Haven for a non-league game on Friday, November 7. Fitch will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 21-0 league loss to Amity Regional (Woodbridge, CT). The Blue Devils record now stands at 3-4.

The Lancers (4-3) will now prepare for their game against Windham (Willimantic, CT). The Whippets enter the Eastern Connecticut II game with a 1-6 record. In their last game, Windham dropped by New London (New London, CT), 40-0, in a non-league bout.
