In Friday's league game, the Permian Panthers (Odessa, TX) football team overcame the host Frenship Tigers (Wolfforth, TX), by a tally of 38-25.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Midland Bulldogs (Midland, TX) in a 6A Region I District 2 outing, on Friday, November 7. Permian will attempt to move on its 8-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a 2-7 record after their 33-21 league loss to Midland Legacy (Midland, TX).

With the defeat, Frenship drops to 4-5 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to San Angelo Central (San Angelo, TX) to clash with the Bobcats in a 6A Region I District 2 outing on Thursday, November 6.
