The George Washington Eagles football squad scored 50 points and limited the host Tunstall Trojans to 8 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they host Magna Vista for a Piedmont test on Friday, November 7. George Washington will meet a Warriors team coming off a 42-0 league win over Halifax County (South Boston, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 9-0.

With the defeat, Tunstall drops to 2-7 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Mecklenburg County (Baskerville, VA) to clash with the Phoenix in a Piedmont outing on Friday, November 7. The Phoenix come into the outing with a record of 1-8. Mecklenburg County lost 64-10 in their recent league outing against George Washington (Danville, VA)
