October 31, 2025: Winthrop, MA 02152 The Winthrop Vikings football squad scored 7 points and limited the visiting Gloucester Fishermen to 6 in the Vikings league triumph on Friday.
The Vikings now sport a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Revere for a non-league test on Thursday, November 27. Winthrop will face a Patriots team coming off a 21-14 league win over Everett (Everett, MA). The Patriots record now stands at 3-5.
The Fishermen (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Danvers (Danvers, MA). The Falcons enter the non-league challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Danvers held off Marblehead (Marblehead, MA), 21-7, in a league challenge.
