The Grand Island Central Catholic Crusaders football squad scored 49 points and limited the visiting West Point-Beemer Cadets to 15 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Friday.

The Crusaders now sport a 9-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bergan Catholic for a non-league test on Friday, November 7. Grand Island Central Catholic will meet a Knights squad coming off a 61-0 non-league win over Wood River (Wood River, NE). The Knights record now stands at 9-1.

With the defeat, West Point-Beemer falls to 6-4 on the year.
