The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Liberty Lions (Peoria, AZ) and the visiting O'Connor Eagles (Phoenix, AZ), saw Liberty's football team bounce O'Connor by a final score of 49-17.

With the win, Liberty advances its record to 8-1 on the season. The Lions travel to Boulder Creek (Anthem, AZ) to encounter the Jaguars in a 6A Desert Valley bout on Friday, November 7. The Jaguars go into the contest with a record of 3-6. Boulder Creek lost 49-17 in their recent league contest against Centennial (Peoria, AZ)

Coming up next, the Eagles confront the Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions (Glendale, AZ) in a 6A Desert Valley contest, on Friday, November 7. O'Connor will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Mountain Lions enter the contest with a 1-8 record after their 59-26 non-league loss to Shadow Ridge (Surprise, AZ).
