Pleasant Valley Vikings (Chico, CA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football squad smash the host Enterprise Hornets (Redding, CA), 48-7 in a league match.

The Vikings (7-1) will now prepare for their match against Shasta (Redding, CA). The Wolves enter the match with a 2-6 record. In their last match, Shasta routed Red Bluff (Red Bluff, CA), 28-14, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Hornets confront the Foothill Cougars (Palo Cedro, CA) in a match, on Friday, November 7. Enterprise will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Cougars go into the battle with a 5-4 record after their 46-18 league loss to Chico (Chico, CA).
