October 4, 2021: Downs, IL 61736 Tri-Valley Vikings (Downs, IL) backers left the game in high spirits Monday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans (St. Joseph, IL), 2-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Vikings battle the El Paso-Gridley Titans (El Paso, IL) in a Heart of Illinois match, on Tuesday, October 5. Tri-Valley will attempt to better on its 16-6 season record. The Titans come into the match with a 14-7 record after their 2-0 league loss to Eureka (Eureka, IL).
With the loss, St. Joseph-Ogden drops to 13-4 on the campaign. The Spartans host Monticello (Monticello, IL) to battle the Sages in a Illini Prairie match on Tuesday, October 5.
