Our Lady of Good Counsel Falcons (Olney, MD) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host St. Mary's Ryken Knights (Leonardtown, MD), 1-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Falcons confront the Bishop Ireton Cardinals (Alexandria, VA) in a Washington Catholic (WCAC) challenge, on Tuesday, October 11. Our Lady of Good Counsel will attempt to move on its 12-1 season record. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Bell (Washington, DC).

The Knights now possess a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gonzaga for a Washington Catholic (WCAC) challenge on Thursday, October 6.
