October 4, 2022: Kyle, SD 57752 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Cheyenne-Eagle Butte Braves (Eagle Butte, SD) and the host Little Wound Mustangs (Kyle, SD), saw Cheyenne-Eagle Butte's volleyball squad beat Little Wound by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, Cheyenne-Eagle Butte upgrades its record to 2-10 on the year. The Braves travel to Todd County (Mission, SD) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 8. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 0-15. Todd County lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against Little Wound (Kyle, SD)
The Mustangs now own a 8-8 record. They play next when they host St. Francis Indian for a A Region 7 bout on Thursday, October 6. Little Wound will play a Warriors squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Lakota Tech (Pine Ridge, SD). The Warriors record now stands at 4-7.
