October 4, 2022: Saugerties, NY 12477 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Kingston Tigers (Kingston, NY) and the host Saugerties Sawyers (Saugerties, NY), saw Kingston's volleyball squad beat Saugerties by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Kingston upgrades its record to 5-7 on the year. The Tigers travel to Valley Central (Montgomery, NY) to play the Vikings in a Section 9 Orange County I bout on Thursday, October 6. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 5-5. Valley Central won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Middletown (Middletown, NY)
The Sawyers now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they host New Paltz for a MHAL bout on Tuesday, October 11. Saugerties will play a Huguenots squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Red Hook (Red Hook, NY). The Huguenots record now stands at 4-4.
