The Cobleskill-Richmondville Bulldogs soccer team (Cobleskill, NY), was overwhelmed 8-1 in Wednesday's league outing with the visiting Schalmont Sabres (Schenectady, NY)

With the win, Schalmont advances its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Sabres host Lansingburgh (Troy, NY) to play the Knights in a Colonial Council contest on Friday, October 6. The Knights enter the contest with a record of 2-8. Lansingburgh lost 6-0 in their recent league contest against Mohonasen (Schenectady, NY)

The Bulldogs now have a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mohonasen for a Colonial Council contest on Saturday, October 7. Cobleskill-Richmondville will face a Warriors team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Broadalbin-Perth (Broadalbin, NY). The Warriors record now stands at 12-1.
