October 4, 2023: Crozet, VA 22932 The Western Albemarle Warriors football team (Crozet, VA), was beaten 29-15 in Wednesday's non-league challenge with the visiting Fluvanna County Flying Flucos (Palmyra, VA)
The Flying Flucos (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Orange County (Orange, VA). The Fighting Hornets come into the non-league challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Orange County was beaten by Louisa County (Mineral, VA), 36-8, in a non-league challenge.
The Warriors now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Goochland for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, October 11. Western Albemarle will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 20-12 non-league win over Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-1.
